  I've been excited to go here for months and it did not disappoint! Husband and I shared the dan dan noodles, steamed chicken and vegetable dumplings and soup dumplings. The noodles and dumpling wrappings were perfectly chewy and silky, which indicates how fresh they are. It was all so delicious and we definitely look forward to come again to try the pan fried dumplings and take some frozen dumplings home in a cooler!
  
  The location is also very convenient, right next to H mart, perfect for taking a stroll in afterwards to walk of the dumplings!
  
  A couple of notes though! It is a cash only establishment, which is a little inconvenient but for the price you pay for ridiculously delicious dumplings, I have no issue driving to the closest bank to get money. It is self serve condiments and they only have soy sauce (full sodium), black vinegar and chili oil, if you have a preference for a different condiment you'll need to bring your own.

  This place was not as good as I was hoping when I looked at all the reviews. Maybe I came on a bad day. This place is self service so you go up to the counter and order and pay (CASH ONLY) and then you find a seat if possible. Kind of a small place so not great for large parties. Pricing was kind of expensive for the taste of the food in my opinion. I paid close to $50 for 2 orders of xiao long baos, 1 Dan Dan noodle, 1 jajang noodle, 1 pork and vegetable fried dumpling and 1 wonton soup.
  
  The xiao long baos has like 6 drops of soup inside. Absolutely terrible. The skin was also thick.  Because they ran out of xiao long baos, they gave us a couple of steamed dumplings to make up for the missing ones we ordered, which I guess was nice. The free soup that they give us very bland. The wonton soup was bland as well. The wontons itself was decent. Not much flavoring but decent enough to eat. We also order the pork and vegetable fried dumplings and that was pretty good. The flavoring was good in the meat. The crispy-ness was what made the dumplings taste good. We also got the jajang noodles which was pretty disappointing. It was supposed to be black bean sauce but it didn't mix well and had lots of ground meat, which is fine but it wasn't tasty to me. I thought dan dan noodles were supposed to be Szechuan spicy but it was nothing like that at all. Tasted like peanut sauce.

  Authenticity at its finest. Came here since I was in elementary school and it's been my go-to for authentic Chinese dumplings. This place hasn't changed much over the many years. Very very very affordable with quality dumplings that you can not get anywhere else in Houston. There's free, all-you-can-drink Chinese soup in the corner. Plus, you can see people working the dough and ingredients in the kitchen from your seat.
  They have a couple of options for vegetarians, such as the vegetable dumplings. Honestly the vegetable dumplings are awesome. I really appreciate the fact that they don't forget about flavors when it comes to making a vegetarian item. They clearly understand that just because someone is vegetarian, doesn't mean they eat plain salads 24/7.
  They don't just make dumplings. They also have other classic Chinese dishes. I highly recommend trying from their noodle selection. It's been a while, but I remember their noodle portions are large and the noodles are the chewy type.
  5 stars for awesome prices, great quality food, big shareable portions, authenticity and nostalgic memories!

  This place has reasonably priced and sized dumplings in fried, steamed, and boiled options. Dumplings are tasty. Their noodles weren't bad, but a little lacking in flavor. Their soup dumplings were not that great in taste and not at all soupy, which was a little disappointing. As far as dumplings go, highly recommend. Other options...not so much.

  Update effective 8/11/19: came here for lunch again recently and was extremely disappointed by the way the owner hustled our group out of the restaurant because of a lunch rush wave. I was literally trying to finish feeding my kid when he came over and flat out asked if we were leaving. So. Incredibly. Rude. We hadn't even been there for a full hour. I won't be back. PS- found a hair in the food I took to go because they were in such a hurry to ditch us. Yuck yuck yuck. And that's how you go from 4 stars to 2!

  This place is super affordable and can feed a ton of people on the cheap if need be. The cleanliness of this place is pretty much on par with the rest of Chinatown.
  
  They sell frozen bagged dumplings, too, if you want to take some home with you. But it seems like stuff sells out fast.
  
  I really enjoyed my dry tofu/peanut/anchovy appetizer but would definitely pass on the green onion pancake next time. It was positively DRIPPING in grease. Yuck. The dumplings were good and I preferred the steamed ones over the pan fried ones. I will definitely be ba
